Targets: Orion Nebula Region (M42, M43), Pleiades (M45), Mars, Uranus
Photo Caption: Setup of telescope for the night
Rare clear sky during the winter times on the island. Drove out to Island View park. The night started out very well with ideal conditions. Can see the Orion Nebula and Pleiades very clearly with the naked eye and even better with the scope. The Milky way also visible during the first few hours into the night. Dew set in at around 9pm. Had to retreat into the car and heat the scope up then headed back out at around 10 pm.
